Nightshift

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every Nightshift Software service. It covers what is unacceptable whatever service you are using. Individual services add rules of their own in their schedules, because what counts as misuse depends on what the service is for.

Do not harm other people

Do not break the law

Do not attack the service

Security research

If you find a security problem, we want to hear about it. Email support@nightshiftsoftware.co.uk with enough detail to reproduce it, give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else, and do not access or keep anyone else's data while proving the point. Do that and we will not treat your testing as a breach of this policy.

What happens if you break it

Usually we will contact you and ask you to stop. Where the problem is serious, ongoing, or puts other people at risk, we may suspend or close the account first and explain afterwards. Closure for breaking this policy does not earn a refund.

If you think we have got it wrong, reply and say so. We would rather reinstate an account than lose a customer to a bad call.
