Sub-processors
Last checked: 3 August 2026.
A sub-processor is a company that handles personal data on our behalf so that we can run something. This page lists the ones behind this website and our support inbox. The companies behind each service are listed by that service, because they differ per service and an aggregated list would misdescribe every one of them.
Company level
| Who | What for | What reaches them |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. Region: {{HOSTING_REGION}} | Hosting Nightshift Software's website. | Your request for a page, and the access log line it produces. This site has no accounts and sets no cookies, so there is nothing tying one visit to another. |
| Microsoft Region: {{MAILBOX_REGION}} | Receiving mail sent to support@nightshiftsoftware.co.uk. | Your email address and whatever you write to us. |
Nothing else runs at company level. There is no analytics tool, no tag manager, no chat widget and no third-party script on this site, so none of them appears here.
Per service
Each service publishes its own named and dated list, covering hosting, databases, model providers, payments and email for that service.
- Rolegend sub-processors - An AI Game Master for solo tabletop role-playing campaigns.
- Masquerade AI has no list yet, because it is not taking customers and processes nobody's data.
Changes
We update this page when the list changes, and the date at the top is when it was last checked rather than when the file was last edited. If you want to be told before a change takes effect, email support@nightshiftsoftware.co.uk and ask.
How we use personal data generally is described in the privacy policy.
